Bright warm children's jacket with a hood and one-piece sleeve is a great gift for a little fashionista. The model is very simple in execution, even beginners can do it.
Dimensions
80/86; 104/110You will need:
- scissors for cutting;
- paper scissors;
- pins
- tracing paper;
- tailor's chalk or fabric marker;
- fleece;
- cotton fabric for lining the hood;
- sewing threads, zipper and special foot for sewing it.
Pattern
- Reshape the details of the pattern on tracing paper and cut.
- Fold the fleece with the wrong side inward, pin the parts with pins, and cut them out.
- Move the tags to align the pockets and the hood onto the fabric.
- Cut out parts with allowances of 1.5 cm only along the line of the middle of the front of the jacket. The remaining allowances of 1 cm are already included in the pattern.
Lining
- Fold the fabric inward.
- Cut out one part of the hood and two parts of the burlap pocket.
Sewing
- Chuck the front and back parts with their front sides to each other.
- Get off.
Pockets
- Insert the details of the fleece pockets into the lining pockets.
- With the resulting allowances, go around the base fabric.
- Pin it up.
- On the front side, stitch the pocket entrance at a distance of 1.5 cm.
- Pin the pocket to the shelves of the jacket, combining the tags.
- Sew along the contour at a distance of 0.3 cm from the edge.
- At the beginning and end of the line, do the fastening.
Lightning
- Sew the zipper to the shelves of the jacket, stepping back from the bottom cut of 3 cm.
Hood
- Fold the details of the fleece and lining hood with their faces facing each other.
- Stitch, starting and ending the line, departing from the edge by 1 cm.
- Iron the seam allowances.
- Unscrew the hood and iron so that the lining "does not come out" out.
- Iron the margin of the lining of the hood onto the wrong side.
- Take the hood to the neckline of the jacket exactly according to the alignment marks, while not grabbing the lining.
- Sew.
- Wrap the seam allowances inside the hood and sew the lining into the seam by inserting the hood into the neck of the machine or manually.
Hem
- Fold the bottom of the sleeves and jacket.
