This scarf is sewn simply and quickly, and you can wear it in different ways.

This accessory can be worn both as a regular scarf and as a snood. The thing is the clasp, which makes it possible to fix the scarf in different positions. This scarf is sewn from flannel, but you can take, for example, cotton or linen.

We turn a simple summer scarf into a design one: 10 workshops

You will need:

- material for a scarf;

- 3 buttons on the leg;

- Thin rubber band for loops;

- tailor pins;

- scissors for fabric (zigzag scissors will also come in handy);

- sewing machine and thread;

- needle for hand sewing.

Do-it-yourself snoods, scarves and scarves: 4 workshops and 16 ideas

Step 1

Determine the size of scarf you need. Here it is 25x163 cm - a convenient size to wear a scarf in different ways. The scarf is sewn from one part folded in half: here the dimensions of the part, including allowances, are 52x165 cm. Cut out the part. Here the short sides are trimmed with zigzag scissors (optional).

Step 2

Fold the part in half, align the edges and pin together.

Step 3

Choose the right loop size for your buttons, not forgetting the allowances. Cut 3 pieces of gum to the desired length.

Step 4

Mark 3 places where the stitches will be sewn. Fold each loop in half and place between the two layers of fabric with the fold inward, the ends outward.

Chip both layers of fabric with pins, fixing the loops.

Step 5

Lay the stitch along 2 sides (short with loops and long), 1 cm from the edge. Cut corners. The edges can be cut with zigzag scissors. Turn the scarf to the front side, try on, find places for buttons and sew buttons, capturing only one layer of fabric. Turn the scarf inside-out again and sew the stitch along the remaining short side, leaving a hole for turning out.

Turn out the scarf and sew the hole. Done.
